ISCyber Essentials Certificate of Assurance

AquaGib provides its customers with an important service; but we want it to be more than just an important service. We want to offer a service that our customers can trust and believe in, delivered by a company that is rigorously measured and certified by International Standards and by a team that is focused on customer satisfaction. The happiness and satisfaction of our customers is always at the forefront of everything we do, which is why we have worked towards, and met, the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 9001:2015 standards for providing a quality management system. These standards are designed to help companies like AquaGib ensure that we meet the needs of all of our customers, whilst also meeting all the statutory and regulatory requirements related to the provision of a safe and healthy water supply. In order to achieve certification to these standards, AquaGib has had to demonstrate our ability to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our company operations. As a result, we can now proudly say that our customers can have the peace of mind and the confidence in the safety, reliability and quality of our service, knowing that we also make every effort to preserve the environment and the health of our customers. This is the reason why we sought (ISO) 9001:2015 certification, and this is why we made sure we achieved it. In order to strengthen cyber security, AquaGib has taken the necessary steps by joining the Cyber Essentials Scheme. This is a Government-backed and industry-supported scheme that helps businesses protect themselves against the growing threat of cyber attacks and provides a clear statement of the basic controls organisations should have in place to protect themselves.

AquaGib are one of the few companies in Gibraltar to have attained this accreditation, which is currently a must for all companies working within the UK Government.

It is the UK Government’s answer to a safer internet space for organisations of all sizes, across all sectors. Developed and operated by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Cyber Essentials is considered the best first step to a more secure network, protecting you from 80% of the most basic cyber security breaches.

Gaining Cyber Essentials certification also enables organisations to showcase their credentials as trustworthy and secure when it comes to cyber security.

The certification defines a focused set of controls which provide clear guidance on basic cyber security for organisations of all sizes and offers a sound foundation of cyber security measures that all types of organisations can implement at a low cost.
