The water is checked at our water desalination plants, it is again checked when it reaches our storage reservoirs located within the rock at the Waterworks. It is checked again before it is supplied into our service reservoirs (from where supplies are continually provided to customers taps).

08 March 2017 - Service Availability Information - Potable Water Interruption Update

AquaGibFollowing on from essential maintenance works undertaken on the potable water network at the South District, supply to all area’s is gradually being restored to resume normal supplies.

As a result of the extensive period of interruption caused by the works just completed, the programmed works announced yesterday ( Scud Hill, Kent House and Rosia Road) and scheduled for today affecting customers in the South District has been cancelled.

AquaGib would like to apologise to Customers for the interruption to the potable water supply and the inconvenience caused.
