Father Grima said that it was appropriate that a company that worked with the supply of water should be helping this important and life-saving initiative. He explained that Ethiopia suffers from a serious lack of safe drinking water and the funds would help to drill boreholes that could supply several thousand children.

Over Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th of February we were involved in the repairs to a major breakdown to Gibraltar’s sea water supply system. The breakdown caused a loss of supply to a large part of Gibraltar’s sea water infrastructure. Emergency repairs were required to two large 300 mm sea water pumping mains.
Our personnel assisted by our sub contractor’s, managed to undertake these essential repairs in a relatively short period of time under very difficult conditions, which were made significantly more challenging in that part of these repairs were undertaken in an exposed location during the blizzard conditions that affected Gibraltar on the evening of Sunday 9th February 2104.
